Manitouwadge’s motto is “Play in the Extreme,” and the trail network lives up to it. Hundreds of kilometres of logging roads and groomed snowmobile trails connect to neighbouring communities and venture deep into the wilderness.

In winter, the trails are groomed and well-marked, linking to the broader northern Ontario snowmobile network. In summer, the same roads become a massive ATV and dirt-bike playground.

It’s wide-open backcountry with very little traffic — exactly the kind of riding that northern Ontario does better than anywhere else.
