Carena

Named after the old arena, which burnt down in 2005, the carena complex houses the town’s ice rink, library, walking track, and fitness center. Various town events are also held throughout the year, so check out the town calendar to see what’s happening during your visit.

While you’re there, grab something to eat at the carena kitchen, and look at all the information and memorabilia related to hockey’s most famous brothers, the Sutters.

So, no matter what you like, you’ll always find something at the carena.

Salvage Trails Loop

This fabulous, scenic trail displays the unique beauty of Terra Nova, Newfoundland and Labrador. Taking an average of 46 minutes to complete and covering about 2.3 km of land, this trail is considered to be moderately challenging. Sainte Madeleine Skate Park

The Sainte Madeleine Skate Park is a new, popular spot among kids. It is a great place to bring a scooter or skateboard and spend some time outdoors. Surrounded by trees, it is nice on a warm, sunny day.

The Miners’ Path

An easy 33-minute hiking route, this is perfect for the beginner hiker. Often in the winter, people snowshoe here to enjoy the peaceful and relaxing nature that Coleman offers.
