Tim’s Fish & Chips and Poutine is a regular spot for grabbing a quick meal for many locals. Food is always superb and is an especially great value on Tuesdays with the “Retro Tuesdays” pricing (prices are about 50% off).

Portions are generous, and the staff is always friendly.  If you find yourself in Prescott’s downtown area regularly or even passing through, definitely give this spot a try.

Favourites here are both the cod and haddock fish and chips that are not over-breaded and are fleshy and delicious and wrapped in newspaper for an authentic experience. Other favourites are the pork poutine and the fisherman’s platter.

The excellent idea is to grab your food and take it down to the waterfront area with picnic tables and a nearby playground, or you can quickly drive to Centennial Park to eat and relax. Don’t let the modest storefront fool you; this place is a must-visit!
