This newly developed park was built to memorialize two residents who lost their lives in the Cougar Flight 491. This tragic helicopter flight that took off and crashed in March 2009 killed 17 people; among them was Wade Drake and Burch Nash.

This park now serves as a great place for residents to relax and spend time outside together. There are often local festivities and concerts held here.
