When you think of activities you can do in the prairies; diving probably isn’t the first thing that comes to mind. But Wainwright’s Clear Lake features a great spot for divers to explore what lies under the water. The lake is filled with various statues, objects, and other treasures for you to find. A map of everything in the lake can be found on the Alberta Adventure Divers’ website.

And if you haven’t been diving before but want to get started, Alberta Adventure Divers offers sessions to get your PADI Open Water Diving Certification. There they will teach you the basics of diving safety, information about the equipment used, and how to maneuver in the water. They also offer specialty courses and technical diving classes for those who already understand the basics of diving.

No matter your skill level, Alberta Adventure Divers is a great place to explore the ins and outs of diving and do some underwater exploration for yourself.
