Ashcroft Trails

For hiking lovers, Ashcroft can offer a unique experience of trails that differs from others in Canada. Due to local climate and geography trails are desert-like without any trees that can obscure the view or provide shade.

While in other cities it might be raining, here it can be not cloudy and even hot. Hikers should be prepared to drink water for staying hydrated.

Despite arid climate and desert landscapes, soils in the Ashcroft area are fertile. It allows growing to produce food for local shops and for export through the whole of western Canada.
