Bearspaw Historical Society

For the history-lover, the Bearspaw Historical Society offers an opportunity to learn more about the history of Bearspaw. Book to see the three centenarian historic buildings: the one-room school, horse barn, and teacherage, which all date back to the 1920s.

Michael’s Creek

Michael’s Creek is a historic landmark, one of the many little destinations along the trail system in Glenbow Ranch Provincial Park. There is a picnic table here and a few interpretive signs.

The Bearspaw loop is a natural civic reserve location which has a constructed pathway for walking. It follows along the natural habitats of the local area. Find the reserve driving on Range Rd 30.

Bearspaw Golf Club

Open to members and guests, Bearspaw Golf Club offers an excellently scenic 18-hole golf course for the travelling golfer. Great practice facilities are also available for those looking to sharpen their game. After a round, or for those not looking to golf, visit the Bearspaw restaurant to enjoy a fresh breakfast, lunch, or dinner while enjoying the pleasant views of Bearspaw.

Calaway Park

For thrill-seekers of all ages, visit Calaway Park. A great place for families and kids, this popular amusement park has plenty of rides and attractions to enjoy. Take a plunge on Timber Falls, Calaway Park’s signature log ride. Or, if the thrill is not your cup of tea, play some carnival games, as there are 20 different games you can play.

Calaway Park

The park is open all summer from 10 am to 7 pm, with limited hours from May-June and in the Fall.
