Once a major active filtration plant in Canada’s International Paper Company, Boréalis opened in 2006 to the general public as a heritage site museum, with the industry’s commemoration as a National Historic Event by the Government of Canada in 2008.

Offering fun and educational exhibitions from water pumping and filtration to logging and paper making. Discover Boréalis through interactive activities such as exploring the underground vaults and the water tower at the heart of the Saint-Maurice River, adventure calls at Boréalis.
