Kinngait (formerly known as Cape Dorset) is world-famous for its great artworks. Since the 1950s, Kinngait has been a centre for drawing, printmaking, and carving. The community calls itself the “Capital of Inuit Art.”

The first Cape Dorset Print Collection was released at the end of the 1950s. Each year, Kinngait Studios issues an annual print collection.
