History

In 1914, Casa Loma was built for financier Sir Henry Pellat. Today, it is a museum and landmark due to its Gothic Revival style architecture.

Unlike anything seen in the area, Casa Loma sits on top of a hill overlooking Toronto.

Today, Casa Loma is one of Toronto’s top tourist attractions. The castle is now owned by the City of Toronto and is regarded as a treasured heritage landmark.
