Clearwater Farmer’s Market

Farmers’ markets are a great way to get a sense of a town’s community, and the one in Clearwater is no different. At the market, you can talk to and buy from local vendors and artisans who create homemade goods, fresh produce, and more. There are usually between 15-25 vendors each week, so there are plenty of places to look at and shop.

The market is also right next to a playground, so your kids can keep busy while you look around. Live music can also occasionally be played at the market to keep you entertained. And once you’ve done all your shopping, seating areas are located on the premise for you to take a break and enjoy what you have.

Disc Golf

Also located on the Clearwater ski hill during the summer months is a disc golf course. The 18-hole course is free to use; you need to bring your discs as they are not provided there. Discs can be bought at Bigfoot Trading Co., located at 365 Murtle Crescent.

If you have never played disc golf before, the rules of the sport and course etiquette are provided on the website. But because the rules between the ball and disc golf are similar, if you’re familiar with ball golf, you should be able to catch on quickly. Printable scorecards and the course map can also be found on the website.
