Cold Lake Provincial Park

Located between parkland and boreal forest, the park protects marshes, mixed wood forests, lovely sand beaches, and stunning lakeshore landscapes. Additionally, explore the 9 km of trails by foot or mountain bike. Take a walk along the lakeshore to see various species of birds and other wildlife.

Enjoy a nice day at the Cold Lake Provincial Park, and make sure to stick around till the end of the day for a breathtaking sunset!

Kinosoo Beach

Kinosoo Beach is a favourite destination during the hot summer months between June and August.

The beach takes its name from our lake’s legendary fish. Named one of Canada’s Top 25 Beaches by Canadian Geographic Magazine.

Kinosoo Ridge

Kinosoo Ridge is a popular winter tourist attraction in Cold Lake.

If you travel with young ones, you could take them to the tub park, skiing or snowboarding overlooking the scenic Cold Lake. This resort has fantastic food, ambiance, and friendly staff.

 

Even if you don’t enjoy skiing or have never done it, Kinosoo Ridge offers many other activities that you can enjoy. Furthermore, night skiing is a local favourite, with colourful lights lighting up the resort and wonderful music playing in the background.

Angler’s Bait Tackle and More is a must-see in Cold Lake. Learn a few fishing tips and tricks from a local fishing guide, Kim Grey, to get a chance to catch the famous Cold Lake, the Kinosoo. If not the Kinosoo, you may catch a jack or lake trout, which is just as tasty!
