Take a step back in time at the Cranbrook History Centre. The museum is home to a collection of restored classic railcars and locomotives.Â
It’s also the site of the Royal Alexandra Hall, initially built in 1906 as the CafĂ© of the Royal Alexandra Hotel in Winnipeg. A model train layout is featured in the museum resembling the Canadian Pacific Railway and Canadian National Railway as they travel through the landscape of BC’s Kettle Valley. Â
See how this railway town came to life in 1905!Â
