Growing up playing boys Hockey in Esterhazy, Dana Antal would win Ivy League Women’s Hockey Rookie of the Year after a breakout season at Cornell University. Antal would win Gold at two IIHF World Women’s Championships and a Gold Medal at the 2002 Olympic Games.

The local arena is named in honour of Dana – the Dana Antal Arena. It is home to winter sports and activities.
