Blueback Beach Access

Just a 5-minute drive from the heart of Lantzville is Blueback beach. This beach boasts spectacular 180-degree views of the mountains on the mainland across the channel. While the beachfront is rocky during high tide, it becomes a soft, sandy beach when the tide is low. The air on the shore is clean, crisp and salty year-round.

Take a walk along the shoreline, and you’ll often find sand dollars and other aquatic life during low tides. There are over 300 steps to get to the beach access, and this is the perfect place to watch a sunset.
