BUSL Cider

BUSL Cider is a family-owned cider mill that produces craft ciders. BUSL offers many different varieties of cider, all available to purchase in-store. Along with products available for purchase, visitors can also tour the full BUSL Cider production facility.

Visitors can see how BUSL makes their ciders and walk through its cider processing plant. For the tasting, BUSL offers a terrace overlooking their 10-acre orchard and multiple duck ponds and a lunch menu with cider sampling.

Treetop Trekking

Treetop Trekking is an aerial and zipline park encapsulated by trees and nature. Equipment is set up between the branches of trees, offering visitors a unique, off-the-ground experience of an amusement park. Treetop Trekking provides many courses and activities on-site, ranging from aerial game treks, nighttime treks, zip lines, tree walk villages (villages on top of trees), discovery kids courses, and team-building exercises. Certain events have age requirements and are listed on the Treetop Trekking website.

Treetop Trekking is open from May to mid-October, and reservations can be made for each activity.

Thousand Islands National Park

Thousand Islands National Park is a famous, beautiful national park by the St. Lawrence River. The park offers a variety of outdoor activities, including camping, hiking, boat tours, scuba diving, kayaking, fishing, and many more. Hiking here is particularly beautiful, as the park has a unique granite shoreline along the St. Lawrence River. Many animals can also be seen wandering throughout the park, and plenty of lookouts are available to observe and take pictures. Visitors also have the option to rent an exclusive riverside oTENTik, which is a roofed cabin on the shoreline for optimal relaxation and nature watching.

Crooked Creek Preserve

Crooked Creek Preserve is a wetland preserve with around 21000 acres of beautiful land and scenery. The preserve contains many different species of animals, and visitors can often see many bald eagles flying overhead or perched upon trees. Crooked Creek Preserve also has a beautiful 5km hiking trail that leads to it, called the Macsherry Trail. Hikers can walk through many beaver ponds and woods. Before circling back to the trailhead, there is an amazing view of Chippewa Bay, perfect for pictures.

Orchel Bakery and Boutique

Orchel Bakery and Boutique is a gourmet bakery located in the center of Mallorytown. The bakery specializes in special, unique baked goods and sweets. They offer pastries, ice cream, confectionary, coffee, and gift items and are also available for special events such as party room rental services. For visitors who want to learn, Orchel Bakery and Boutique also offers decorating classes for all. The store is open six days a week, excluding Monday, from 11 am to 7 pm.

Mallory Coach House

Mallory Coach House is a museum at the center of Mallorytown. Mallory Coach House specializes in showcasing historical artifacts and documents important to the area of Mallorytown. Within the museum, there are also historical demonstrators educated on the artifacts displayed and providing an excellent learning experience for museum visitors. Along with historical artifacts, Mallory Coach House also hosts art shows and demonstrations and bake sales. With a spacious garden area and gazebo in the back of the museum, visitors can relax and gaze at the scenery at the museum.

Jones Creek Trails

Jones Creek Trails is a group of beautiful, scenic hiking trails through the 1000 Islands. All of these trails are relatively flat and appropriate for beginner hikers, families, and children. The scenery is unique, with different trails offering different marshes, forests, and wetlands.

Within the Jones Creek Trails are two distinct sections: a “lower section” and a western section of trails. The “lower section” consists of 3 looped trails, the Bear Loop, Heron Loop, Turtle Loop, and Eel Loop. Each of these loops is less than 1km long and takes approximately 20 minutes to hike. The western section consists of two trails: Hawk Loop and Wolf trails. These trails are connected and are a combined 7.8km long.
