Born in 1886 in Paris, Ontario
Died in 1964 in Seattle, WA

He was referee-in-chief of the Pacific Coast Hockey Association (PCHA) and the referee-in-chief of the NHL.

Mickey Ion is a member of the Hockey Hall of Fame.
