Kettle River Museum

The Kettle River Museum is a museum that is located in the heart of Boundary Country in southern British Columbia. The museum’s goal is to preserve and share the area’s history. The Kettle River Museum was founded by volunteers who wanted to preserve and share the area’s history. The museum has grown over time and now includes three buildings with exhibits on regional history, First Nations culture, logging, mining, railroads and more. The museum site includes the original Station House, an artifacts yard, a caboose, and more.

Phoenix Ski Area

Phoenix Ski Area is located along the southern border just off highway 3 in British Columbia, with a top elevation of over 1400 meters. The ski area has an on-site lodge with plenty of amenities, including a cafeteria. Enjoy a warm beverage while suiting before hitting the slopes. The resort offers skiing, snowboarding, and tubing for all ability levels. There are several mountains with chairlifts, surface lifts for skiing or snowboarding, and hills appropriate for family fun. This cozy ski area has some of the best snow for these activities, where you can rent equipment and get season passes.

Kettle Valley Golf Club

Kettle Valley Golf Club was established in 1983 as one of the first public golf courses built in British Columbia. The course is located between the village of Midway and the hamlet Rock Creek. The beautiful course comprises 9-holes and offers various shots and challenges for golfers at all levels. The clubhouse on-site includes all the amenities needed for a golf club, inducing an elegant restaurant with a pleasant dining area. At the Pro-shop, golfers can find quality equipment, including apparel to accessories.

Frank Carpenter Memorial Campground

Frank Carpenter Memorial Campground is a small camping area in the Rocky Mountains. It is located right on Kettle River and has a beautiful view for camping. The campground offers primitive and electric campsites, picnic tables, fire rings and restrooms with running water and flush toilets. This is also a nice site for those without camping equipment who are just looking for a place to visit for a few hours or to spend the night. The campsite is great activities, including hiking, biking, swimming, and fishing.
