The park is intended to protect and preserve the Garry Oak ecosystem in Brentwood Bay. Depending on the season, there are a variety of plants and wildlife to see, including a bloom of flowers in the spring. This location is popular for birdwatching, and several easy trails make for a peaceful outdoor walk with family or friends.
