The Cartier-Roberval archaeological site bears witness to the first French colonization in America. Follow an interpretational trail to a reception building and the observation bridge. Over 6,000 16th-century artifacts were unearthed before this site gave rise to the La Colony Rediscovered exhibition.
Glimpse the Cartier-Roberval memory wall built in memory of the first French colony in America. Experience Aboriginal and French stories through the site’s mobile application (requires at least iOS 11 for Apple and Android Pie 9.0 to run). Check out their website to find the app before arriving on site, or download it on the spot. Keep an eye out for new exhibitions coming soon!
The site is open daily from 8:00 to 20:00, from May 1 to October 10.
