The Shurniak Art Gallery holds the private collection of Bill Shurniak (founder of the gallery). The collection includes original paintings, artifacts, and sculptures from places all around the world. The gallery showcases pieces from international places such as Hong Kong and Australia, as well as Canadian and local pieces.

As well as a large collection of art, the building itself is unique in its design and consists of seven gallery rooms that names are former and existing villages in the rural municipality of Stonehenge.
