Spirit River Museum

It is located in one of the Central Peace Region’s oldest towns. The museum houses an incredible collection of antiques, some of which date back 11,000 years, and antiquities that provide insight into older Albertan life.

It is managed by individuals who are fervent history enthusiasts. It can be the ideal stopping point for everyone interested in these ancient collections and is an adventurer.

Moonshine Lake Provincial Park

Here, you can find different birds and wildlife. A Jack Bird Pond was recently added, providing a fantastic bird-watching location.

Within a few kilometres of this park are ski slopes and ice fishing opportunities (depending on the season). Children can also utilize the playground, which is available. Camping, swimming, and other activities are permitted here.

A & B Eats

A well-known café or restaurant where you may have flavorful chicken steaks, fresh pizza, and soup! An excellent place to eat while exploring this small-town Spirit River. At relatively affordable costs, they provide tasty meals.

The Dragonflies Den

If you’re in the area, stop by this cafe and store. Here, you may buy handmade goods like towels and scrunchies. These might serve as gifts for close family members and mementos of this small community. You can enjoy a cup of coffee while perusing this neighbourhood business at the cafe, which provides wonderful lattes and coffee.

Richardson Pioneer Central Peace Aquatic Centre

Originally constructed in 1967, the Spirit River Centennial Pool had always been busy offering summer fun and excitement. Newly renovated and re-opened for 2013, the Richardson Pioneer Central Peace Aquatic Centre is one of the best summer destinations.

Chepi Sepe Campground

The Chepi Sepe Municipal Campground is located along Highway 49 at the East entrance into town. There are 12 full-service campsites, a cooking house, showers, and a sanitation dump, all situated in a beautiful park-like setting. Sites are available on a first-come-first-served basis.

Kin Park

The Kin Park in the Town of Spirit River is a public park area with a playground and a brand new outdoor skating facility. The park and skating rink is free to the public to use all year round.
