History

The Stubbert’s Point Battery features the remains of a gun emplacement constructed for the Second World War. Four years following the battles, the hostillery was dismantled and left open to nature’s influence. The remaining ruins provide a spectacular representation of the fortified defence used in the war, making this site an ideal attraction for historians and adventurers.
