For those interested in history, the North Thompson Museum is a great site to visit and learn about regional history. Open during the summer, the museum features exhibits such as a steam engine-powered train, a replica of an 1800s schoolhouse, antique farm equipment, and historical records and archives from the Barriere region.

If you want to visit outside of regular hours or during other times of the year, an appointment is necessary.
