Sunshine Village Ski Resort
Banff, Alberta
Located on the Continental Divide, this resort has a seven-month season lasting from November to May, making it the longest non-glacial ski season in Canada. The resort offers more than 3,300 acres of terrain favourable to skiers of any skill set. Additionally, the resort includes 12 lifts, including nine super lifts and a high-speed gondola. It is renowned as Canada’s Best Snow.

The Whitewater Ski Resort is the ideal getaway for the skiing community. With over 12 meters of snow annually and a small crowd, these snowy hills give the fresh powder hounds their satisfaction. What’s unique about this resort is that they do not try to compete with the big businesses, nor do they risk their charm for bigger crowds.
However, this resort is not massive, with 1,184 acres of ski terrain biasing towards a challenging ride. It has been gaining popularity recently, but the resort insists on keeping its simple essence and doing what they know best.

Mont-Tremblant Ski Resort
Mont-Tremblant, Quebec
Mont-Tremblant Ski Resort has a summit of 875 meters, offering one of the best views of the Laurentians. It features 102 trails, four slopes, 14 lifts, and 755 acres of skiing terrain.
The trails are split into 22 (easy), 31 (difficult), and 49 (extreme), giving visitors quite the range to enjoy and hone their skills. Le Massif de Charlevoix features the highest vertical drop east of the Rockies! This ski resort has a general season ranging from December to April. It is situated so that it directly overlooks the Saint Lawrence River, offering the promise of a wonderful time.
The mountain contains every type of terrain for every type of skill level. Though this mountain isn’t always at the top of a bucket list, a visit will leave you in awe at the winding beauty of the snowy hills, a massive lake, and the deep blue skies.

Blue Mountain Ski Resort
Blue Mountains, Ontario
Blue Mountain, in the industry for 80 years, knows all the tips and tricks of providing an adventure for visitors.
This ski resort has four snowparks for all the freestyle fanatics, along with jam-packed winter fun activities, including Mountaintop Skating, Ski Touring, and the classic Hike’n’Tube.
The general season ranges from mid-December to late March. The resort houses a variety of services extending its snowy slopes to include golfing, hiking, tennis, and bike tours. Surely you wouldn’t want to miss out on the fun.

Fernie Alpine Resort
Fernie, British Columbia
A town with history, Fernie Alpine Resort located on Lizard Range near Fernie BC, is a master of the winter wonderland.
In the winter months, visitors can enjoy 2500 acres of skiable terrain, up to 37 feet of snow in a season, 142 named runs, and 5 alpine bowls. The resort also excels in its beginner area, making sure that every person has fun during their stay!
In the summer months, you can expect to see a mountain bike park, hiking, guided hikes, and sightseeing well under operation.

Big White Ski Resort
Kelowna, British Columbia
Big White is considered one of Canada’s best family ski resorts in Canada. It offers a wide variety of activities, including night skiing, dog sled tours, and sleigh rides!
The winter season usually spans late November to mid-April. There are 119 designated trails and 16 lifts, with the groomed area being 905 acres. The annual snowfall comes to approximately 24.5ft. Alongside all the high and crazy adventures, the resort also has experienced instructors willing to fine-tune your skills.

Marble Mountain Resort

Coming up last, but certainly not least, is the Marble Mountain Resort. It is located in Steady Brook (close to Corner Brook), on the west coast of Newfoundland, in the Long Range Mountains.
This resort suggests some activities to enjoy alongside the snow, including hiking trails, outdoor golfing, and Marble Zip Tours!
