Old Post Sept-Îles is a historical interpretation site reconstructing an 18th-century fur trading post.

The trading post of Sept-Îles originated around 1673. It was a traditional summer gathering place for the Innu of the Sainte-Marguerite and Moisey rivers, where the first French traders settled for food, hunting and fishing.
