The park is often looked after by people taking part in community service. Many new trees have been planted within the park to help it to flourish.

Sendall Gardens

The Sendall Gardens are also called the Escape Gardens as they are well hidden within Walnut Grove. The gardens include 3.67 acres of beautifully placed, unique plants, shrubs, and trees. The gardens also include a tropical greenhouse full of colourful and exotic plants.

Extreme Air Park

Walnut Grove is also home to the largest trampoline park in Canada. With over 40,000 sq. ft of trampolines, and numerous activities to complete, there’s plenty to do at the Extreme Air Park. Some featured activities include a trampoline-filled 3D dodgeball arena, a rock-climbing wall, a gladiator arena where you must knock your opponent into the foam pit below, and much more.

Prices for the park start at $17 for an hour or $23 for the day. Group rates also exist for parties of 8 people or more. A birthday package also exists, which includes a private party room, pizza, ice cream cake, and drinks, and it makes it a great place if you’re looking to plan your kid’s party.

No matter your age, Extreme Air Park is a great place to come out and get active, fun and unique.

Topham Park

Topham Park is located within Walnut Grove and is a classic park for a town to have! The park features a baseball diamond, a playground, basketball courts, and a playing field. If you are not interested in partaking in any sports activities, you can also walk on the trails in Topham Park.

Cherry Blossom Trees

Spring

Cherry Blossom Trees are hard to find in Canada, but in Walnut Grove, you can walk down 62nd to 64th avenue and see them. Planted throughout Walnut Grove, you can walk around and experience the beauty of the cherry blossom trees.

Walnut Grove Community Park

For anyone looking to get outdoors on their way through town, the Walnut Grove Community Park is a fantastic place to get out and move. Located right in town, the park has a variety of services that will get people out and moving. For sports fans, there are tennis courts, basketball courts, and a baseball diamond available. And if you want to relax and enjoy the sun, a concession and seating areas can also be found.

For hot days, the park also features a spray park, so you’ll be able to cool down in the heat. And with all the trees and gazebos, there’s always a place to sit down in the shade if the spray park isn’t of interest to you. So, no matter the temperature or weather, this park is a great place to enjoy the air outside.

Forest Hills Park

Located within a suburb of homes, Forest Hills Park is the ideal location to go for a walk or play a sport. Some of the facilities included in this park are pickleball, tennis courts, a basketball court, a playground, and even walking trails. The park extends between the surrounding neighbourhood giving a longer set of trails for walking.

Walnut Grove Community Centre

When planning a trip through Walnut Grove, a great place is the Community Centre. This centre is a multipurpose complex that features many amenities. The most popular tourist amenity is the public pool, which includes a waterslide, high diving boards, a sauna, and whirlpools. Drop-in aquatic fitness programs are also available in the pool.

However, the Community Centre is also home to other amenities, such as a fitness centre, a gymnasium, and a library. The fitness centre and gymnasium offer drop-in events that are open to the public, so if you like to stay fit, join in to play a game of basketball or use some of the fitness equipment that’s provided.

Redwoods Golf Course

With the beautiful scenery surrounding Walnut Grove, you’ll likely want to spend much time outside, taking in all the beautiful landscapes. One great way to do this is to visit the Redwoods Golf Course. With a beautiful view of the surrounding trees and mountains, this 18-hole course is stunning to play through. Pair that with the fresh BC air and a challenging course, and you’re in for a game of a lifetime.

Also at the course is a restaurant called the Redwoods Grill. The restaurant features an outdoor patio, which makes it the perfect place to eat and relax after a round of golf on a nice day. A shop is also available on the premises, which sells merchandise for the course and the equipment you may need, like clubs and balls.

Rain or shine, this course is great for taking in the beauty of Walnut Grove while also playing a challenging but rewarding game of golf.
