North Battleford and the Town of Battleford across the North Saskatchewan River together are known as “The Battlefords”.

Located in city limits, the Western Development Museum in Battleford offers visitors a view into the life of the early 1900s in Saskatchewan.

The outdoor heritage village exhibit features over 30 homes and businesses from the 1920s, including a farmstead. Inside the museum, featured exhibits include a grain elevator, steam engine and other 1920s vehicles.
