Home Town of Porter Airlines Boss Robert Deluce

Robert J. Deluce is one of Canada’s most knowledgeable airline owners and operators. He is the president and CEO of Porter Airlines.

Robert was born in 1950 in Chapleau, Ontario and raised in White River.

Robert’s father served as a pilot with the Royal Canadian Air Force in the Second World War. In 1951 his parents started White River Air Services Limited to fly summer tourists to Lake Superior. Robert was a pilot with White River.

The White River Train Station is a beautiful, historic building to view when visiting the town. It is located in the heart of White River, the western terminus station of Via Rail. This train station has been well maintained and preserved since its creation.

White Lake Provincial Park

If you would like to have a great experience while visiting the town of White River, then make sure you stop by the White Lake Provincial Park. This site gives all visitors access to one of the largest lakes on the Lake Superior Circle Route.
