Unique and community-oriented would be the best way to describe this adorable café. They promote local producers, businesses and artists while providing delicious meals. The kitchen uses seasonal and locally available fruits, vegetables and herbs.

Their menu includes homemade focaccia, salads with fresh greens, and fresh soups – all made from scratch.  They are open for takeout and indoor or patio dining. If you decide to dine in the interior dining room, you’ll find featured paintings, photos, and artwork of local artists.

If you decide to dine outside, you’ll have an amazing view of the historic locks of Merrickville on the Rideau Canal and even catch a glimpse of the famous yellow canoe.
