The site of the final battle of the Northwest Resistance of 1885, Batoche National Historic Site offers a glimpse back in time to 19th century Métis settler life. With a 700 m walking trail overlooking the South Saskatchewan River as well as the Batoche Shuttle, which takes you through the historic East Village, Batoche National Historic Site is the perfect destination for nature and history lovers alike.
