The Carstairs Heritage Centre offers visitors a chance to learn more about the area as they explore the rich stories of Carstairs, Southern Alberta, and the Canadian West. With its expansive collection of over 4,000 artifacts, the museum interprets the region’s vibrant heritage.

The Carstairs and District Historical Society was formed in 1986 to turn the newly deconsecrated Knox Presbyterian Church into a community museum. Since then, the Church and attached buildings have transformed into permanent galleries.
