The Columbia Western Rail Train (also known as the C&W Rail Trail, The Great Trail, or The Trans Canada Trail) is a popular trail with a distance of 162km long from Castlegar, BC, to Midway, BC. The trail holds the history of the abandoned Canadian Pacific Boundary Subdivision, which last ran in 1991.

Visitors can either participate in a multi-day day trip or take a shuttled downhill into Cascade Falls. Activities available on the trail include mountain biking, e-bike, hiking, trail running, horse riding, ATV, and dirt biking.
