Dundas Driving Park

Dundas Driving Park is a staple in the community for people of all ages and from all walks of life. Being a fantastic location for picnics, it is especially great for families looking to spend quality time together while getting some sun and fresh air.

Kids absolutely love it there, as there’s a big playground and a splash pad in the summer. Even if you’re on your own and just want to enjoy a nice walk, this park is just the place.

Shawn & Ed Brewing Co.

Located in what was once the Dundas Curling and Skating Rink—originally built by the mayor of Dundas, Todd Wilson, in the 1860s—this brewery was founded by two old friends, Shawn Till and Ed Madronich. Passionate about quality beer, they are dedicated to brewing the best possible product—and they achieve their mission by avoiding shortcuts, honing their craftsmanship, and using excellent equipment. You can even book a tour of their brewery if you wish to learn more about their processes!

They have several different beers and wines available in their taproom, but their core beers are Lagershed Original, Lagershed Light, Lagershed Dark, and Barrelshed Amber Ale.

Weir’s Lane Lavender & Apiary

Weir’s Lane Lavender & Apiary initially began as a farm in 2008. Although their farm is no longer in operation (sold in 2018), they have been producing lavender and bee-related products since 2009, using only natural ingredients and pesticide-free lavender.

So many different products are available, such as essential oils, pillow sprays, lavender-infused honey, soaps, body lotions, foot rubs, deodorants, face creams, and more! You’ll feel a sense of calm as soon as you step inside the store, and now you can bring some of that calm with you back home.
