DrinkHistory

In the heart of the charming Formosa Valley in Ontario, the Formosa Springs Brewery was established in 1870. Formosa Springs’ past had a somewhat erratic history. German immigrants learned about the excellent spring water in the area in 1870, and they immediately presumed beer. It was forced to close in 1922 due to Prohibition, but new owners gave it life and it remained open until 1971.
