Salt Spring Island Cheese

Salt Spring Cheese has been serving farm-fresh cheese to the community of Salt Spring Island since 1996; Since then, the family-owned business has expanded to include 14 different kinds of cheese, a farm for visitors to sample unique flavours and visit the animals that reside there.

You may visit the cafe they have on site, which serves goat cheesecake, pizza and salads made from mostly local ingredients. Salt Spring Cheese is a must-see for those looking to discover a family-owned business that provides excellent products and atmosphere.

Salt Spring Model Railway Show

The Salt Spring Model Railway Show is a perfect stop for anyone in your party passionate about trains. This Interactive Show brings the whole family together by allowing them to operate the trains and viewing all the action via a tiny camera on the front of the train, simulating a conductor’s view. The whole show lasts around 30 – 40 minutes; once completed, visitors are invited to enjoy refreshments and an art gallery viewing on the property.

Old Salty Store has been serving the community of Salt Spring Island since 1907 ( although under a different name back then ); this unique gift shop sells hundreds of products from a range of small local sellers around Canada and internationally. The gift shop is not only a perfect place to stop when looking for the perfect gift, but it is also worth a visit to learn about its deep roots in the culture of Salt Spring Island.
