A small, magically natural park nestled in the Cypress Hills, 17 kilometres north of Eastend. Dense forest, headwaters of Swift Current Creek, wildflowers, and real camping — the way it used to be.
The park has 27 non-serviced sites, many tucked among trees along the creek. Hiking trails lead through the forest and up hills overlooking the park. People drive in from across the country and can’t believe this landscape exists in the middle of southern Saskatchewan.
No reservations — first come, first served. Developed in the 1950s by Saskatchewan historian and naturalist Everett Baker as a place for people to appreciate nature. It still serves exactly that purpose.
