Thirty-five buildings full of artifacts depicting pioneer life in Saskatchewan. The Deep South Pioneer Museum has been preserving and sharing the region’s history for over 46 years, and it remains one of the most comprehensive pioneer museums on the prairies.

Walk through a recreated prairie village: a general store, a schoolhouse, a church, a blacksmith shop, farmhouses, and barns. Over 150 pieces of antique farm machinery surround the grounds. Everything is maintained by volunteers who care deeply about keeping these stories alive.

The museum is part of the South-Central Museums Association, a network of fourteen small volunteer-run museums across the region that have banded together to share resources and preserve the heritage of south-central Saskatchewan. Admission is included with Southern Prairie Railway train packages, or visit independently.
