The very first church built in Castor. All Saints Anglican Church has been closed for roughly three decades, but the building still stands as a landmark in the community.
It’s a handsome piece of early prairie architecture and a favourite stop on the town’s historic walking tour. The church is part of a broader story — at its peak, Castor was a busy railway and service centre, and the churches, schools, and businesses that sprang up tell the tale of a community that grew fast and put down deep roots.
Worth a stop to appreciate the craftsmanship.
