A few kilometres outside of town, rising from the potato fields, you’ll find a 300-foot replica of Noah’s Ark. Originally built for a private Bible school, the structure now operates as a cafe.
It’s an unexpected, slightly surreal sight — a massive wooden vessel in the middle of a New Brunswick farming landscape. Whether you see it as a landmark, a curiosity, or a piece of folk architecture, it’s undeniably one of the most unusual things you’ll encounter on a Maritime road trip.
Worth the short drive just to see it and shake your head in amazement.
